I never liked CLAMP's Chobits. The plot itself is weird, but then again, I feel that way about most of CLAMP's manga. Nonetheless, I must admit that the arts for Chobits are adorable. As the title suggested, this book comprises of nothing but illustrations of Chii and Dark Chii in their various poses and dresses. Most of this book is in full color. There are approximately 70 illustrations total. 24 are double spread while the rest are full page. Very little attention is giving to the background of these images. Most are focused on Chii's facial expression and her lovely dress. If you like gothic lolita fashion, you will probably appreciate this book even more. This book is a must buy even if you don't like Chobits. Pick up your copy if you have a chance. |
