This book is consisted of illustrations taken from various artbooks that are currently out of print. Some of the series included are Rose of Versailles, Oniisama E, Orpheus no Mado, and a few other unidentified. The art styles for these series are very similar; there are little changes or progress over time. There are over 30 colored illustrations total. Most of them are full-page spread. At the end of the book, there is also a section featuring poetry and notes from the artist. Overall, if you are having a hard time finding illustration arts for Riyoko Ikeda’s older works, you should consider picking this up. The illustrations are beautiful as Riyoko Ikeda herself especially chose them for this artbook. |
