Even today, this remains as one of my most favorite books in my collection. At the time of purchase, I have no idea who the artist was; nonetheless, this is quite a nice find. This book contain chockfull of artworks for the game/manga Harukanaru Toki no Nakade by Tohko Mizuno. Harukanaru Toki no Nakade has pretty the same theme as Fushigi Yuugi, loads of bishounen around an average schoolgirl. What’s not to like about this ^^ There are a little over 100 illustrations in this book. Most of them are in full-page format. Pages with character designs often include up to four images. Tohko Mizuno has a nice style. I love the way she paint the kimono patterns (Sample #3). There are a couple male characters illustrations that reminded me of Hisaya Nakajo though (Sample #4) Overall, this is a must-buy even if you have no idea what Harukanaru Toki no Nakade is. Personally, with the amount of illustrations you will be getting, a measly ¥ 1800 is a bit under-priced. |
