I picked this during my trip to LA this winter vacation. My cousin Shelly helped me picked this book out and I could not thanks her better. This artbook is breathtaking and it should not be missed. It consisted of 72 full color illustrations, presented in either full or double-page spread. Illustrations here are eastern-themed. What I like most about this book is the amount of flowers illustrated. Almost every illustration is adorned with clusters of flowers. I am a sucker for pretty flowers, especially oriental-themed and the like. Regarding the illustrations themselves, Ichiko’s color choice is wonderful. It is neither too dark nor bright. The characters featured in these illustrations looks moody most of the time, but this brings about a nice effect overall. This artbook does cost quite a bit. However, with the amount of illustrations you will be getting, it is definitely worth it. |
