So far, this is the most expensive artbook in my collection. Despite the high price, this artbook is totally worth it. This book is beautifully presented with one double-sided pullout poster (sample #1), 23 color illustrations, 5 duotones illustrations, and 11 pages of monotone excerpt from the manga. There are not that many illustrations in this book since most of them span across two pages. The illustrations mainly covered the very first arc of the manga. Chieko Hosokawa’s style has changed a lot since then. The quality is very high nevertheless. Overall, this great artbook should not be missed. I would fully recommend it to all Chieko Hosokawa or classic shoujo manga fans. |
