Full title reads, "Der Jen's Collection of the Ancient Chinese People: The Zephyr-Love Stories of the Royal Manchu in the Forbidden City.” This is another gorgeous hardcover art collection by Dezhen. Its design and presentation are very similar to her other books The Portraits of the Ladies and My Romance. Artworks found in this book are of beautiful females from the Manchu Era. There is a short verse accompanying each illustration, available in both Traditional Chinese followed by English translation. Overall, this is an excellent artbook. I have no negative remark about it. This is a must buy for fans of Dezhen. |
