This is a gorgeous hardcover book released at the same time with Dezhen's other book My Romance. There are 64 full color pages total. Book also comes with a postcard-sized foldout pamphlet containing 6 illustrations. All of which can also be found inside the book. Artworks in this book are of beautiful females from the Chinese royal court. They are neatly presented; either full or half pages. Each illustration is accompanied by a short verse written in Traditional Chinese followed by English translation. There is no other apparent flaw I can find; except that the pretty cover art is nowhere to be found within this book which is rather disappointing. Other than that, the illustrations are obviously beautiful and the price is not too bad either. Get this if you're a fan of Dezhen. |
