The Hana-Kimi artbook basically has character bios, info of the story and making, and some info on a few of her other series. Mostly all of the text is in Japanese. The books is a soft-cover with a slip jacket. It opens up with a few full color illustration pages, mostly group and couple shots. The rest of the book is info on the manga full of excerpts from the manga. There are a few color pages in the middle showing all the of the products that were made for the series as well. At the end, there is a small little manga about the Umeda family. Overall, this is only good if you have read the series and know how to read Japanese (I need to learn it myself. =P). I think this would be a nice book for avid fans of the series who just likes to collect Hisaya Nakajo's work. |
