Ivy's Rating - Good

According to Mangaart.com, Zhang Jingmei is the first Taiwanese manga artist to have an artbook published. Being said, there is plenty of room for improvement. Nevertheless, this is a nice find. The cover looks pretty and the male character (sample #4) reminded me of Biyon from Seung Won Han’s Princess. Those two factors are reason enough to persuade me to buy the book.

Most of the illustrations here are fantasy themed, there are half boy/unicorn, fairies and other mythical creatures. There are flowers scattering on every pages. Pretty nice I might say. However, illustrations on the last few pages are not as great. The eyes of the female characters resemble the heroine of Please Save My Earth, which I am not fond of.

One of my biggest disappointments is the color of the prints. It is far less vibrant than the sample scans provided below. Plus, the book is rather thin. There are a little over 60 pages of full color illustrations; mainly single-spread and a few pages with more than two illustrations. Other than this small issue, this is a must get for shoujo manga fan.
