Tina & Ivy's Rating - Good
Tina's Comment
The process to buy this book was nice and simple. I bought it for the cover. I have never heard of the series or the author, as a matter of fact. But the cover and the back cover were nicely drawn and the back was pretty in pink~ish, so I bought the book.
I'm not going to give you all that technical mumble jumble with how many pages of illustrations and how many pictures etc. I'm wayy too lazy for that. I'll let Ivy do that. I like describing the artwork a whole lot more.
I open up the page to see an opaque transparent page along with the following page. Pretty, I thought, if it weren't for the nose. Yes, the reason why I gave this a good was because of the nose. The illustrations throughout the whole book were of a nice color combination. None of it hurt my eyes and well, the thin marks and sketches only helped exemplify the whole picture.
Cooler colors seem to be used much more frequently than the warm colors. This is just my observation, but I think that the artist works better with the cooler colors. Perhaps it was just my preference.
Personally, I don't think this art book was worth the ¥ 1600. I'd rather spend it on another art book. The nose really annoys me to that extent. However, if you like the artist or whatnot, then buy it. Probably one of my worse purchases, but hey, I've seen much worse. =P
Well, there you have most of it, I'll probably end up editing this later to write up more on it, but for now, you only get these measly 6 paragraphs. Enjoy~

I bought this after seeing the cute cover which is quite pretty, so soft and elegant. This book includes the work of Yamauchi Naomi's shoujo manga Nante Suteki ni Japanesque.
As for the interior arts, it's pretty standard. Illustrations are printed on thick paper. There are a few nice pieces. I hate the way the nose was drawn though. If it wasn't for the page count and the price, this book would have gotten an average rating from me.
There is nothing else I can say about this book. It makes a nice asset to your collection if you like the manga or are fond of Yamauchi Naomi herself.
