Tenshi Nakanja Nai is one of Ai Yazawa's older shoujo series. Being the first artbook released by Ai Yazawa, there isn’t much to say about this except 1800 yen is a tad expensive. However, with the amount of color pages you’re getting, it’s worthwhile.
Artworks founded here are nice and cheerful. Ai Yazawa has a distinctive coloring style. Most of her illustrations used bright, dynamic, primary colors. Yet, none of them managed to hurt viewers’ eyes. I don’t really like the way the broad lips is drawn though. Other than that, everything else is just about right.
Overall, this is a nice artbook. Get it if you’re a fan of Ai Yazawa or her manga.
